Hydrocortisone (1.0%) / Anti-inflammatory

Other Ingredients: Benzyl alcohol‚ dextrose‚ glucose oxidase‚ glycerin‚ hydroxy propyl cellulose‚ lactoferrin‚ lactoperoxidase‚ lysozyme‚ potassium iodide‚ propylene glycol‚ purified water.

Dosage

Shake well before use. Apply liberally to un-cleaned ear‚ filing ear canal. Gently massage and work into affected area. Wipe to remove excess. Apply once a day for 7 days‚ 14 days for chronic ears.

Precautions

For animal use only.

Do not clean ear before or during use. Doing so will disrupt the enzyme system.

Do not use on punctured ear drums.

Do not use on pregnant or lactating females.

Do not use in conjunction with other topical ear products or ear cleaners.

Do not allow water in or near ear during use.

If condition persist or worsens‚ consult your veterinarian.

Keep out of reach of children.

Store at room temperature.

Notice: Safe for extended use on persistent cases.

      I purchased Zymox for our Goldendoodle with chronic ear infections. I used it exactly as directed and saw a little relief, but not much. I even ordered the higher dosage after this one and still our poor girl had an infection. Our vet told us that this doesn’t really work well and gave us a prescription for Tresaderm and that totally took care of the infection in a matter of days! I know we are going against all of the glowing reviews about Zymox, but it was a waste of money for us.

      My dog has had continual ear infections for the last 5 years, treated with antibiotic ear ointment every 2 months. Finally diagnosed as having ectopic dermatitis (which manifests itself mainly with chronic ear infections). Started steroids, but within the month another ear infection was looming. I'd bought Zymox's Otic (Hydrocortisone 1.0% Enzymatic Solution)  and kept in the cupboard to try as 'an emergency' and within a few days the redness and swelling were settling. Despite the steroids, her other ear is now slightly dirty and this usually is a sign that something is 'brewing'. I'll watch and wait and if need I'll treat the other ear with this product. It just makes sense that a topical steroid will give relief where it is needed. So far very pleased!

      My dog gets ear infections frequently. I use this Zymox® Otic (Hydrocortisone 1.0% Enzymatic Solution) by Zymox every time and it works. It stops the pain and itch and clears the infection.

      Zymox Otic by Zymox is a great solution to keep away ear infections. My dog has Cocker Spaniel ears that easily can be troublesome. I use a few drops once a week and never have to go to the vet.

      My dog was having a problem with his ears (was constantly shaking his head) so I took him to the vet who suggested I use Zymox Otic to alleviate problem. I used up all the medicine and was going to order more from vet, but decided to check price on line. I purchased this medicine from this site and the cost was half what the vet charged.

      I ordered Zymox Otic HC 1.0% by Zymox for my dog's ears and the price was excellent and the delivery was even better. I actually ordered it on Monday and it arrived by Wednesday (free shipping). I have used this ear medicine on my dog previously, and it works wonderfully. I am very happy with this ear medicine and even happier with the company.
