      Im taking Real Niacin to help improve my lipid profile. While it really hasnt made much of a difference in my total cholestrol Real Niacin has made a big difference in the HDL (good cholesterol). When from 60 mg/dl to 95 mg/dl.I take 2 tablets (1000 mg) a day. I have had no flushing or other side effects.
