      I have been taking Elderberry Syrup by Wise Woman Herbals for 6 or 7 years. It was prescribed by my Naturopathic doctor when I asked for an alternative to the flu shot. Since I have started taking the Elderberry Syrup, I have not had any problems with bronchitis or the flu and always feel safe with it. It works for me!

      Since using Elderberry Syrup by Wise Woman Herbals, I have not had a serious cold or the FLU!! I normally start taking Elderberry Syrup in August to build up my immunity. I DID NOT begin my regimen in August and I got the FLU at the beginning of October! I ordered the product after dealing with the FLU for a week and I feel much better!

      The fact that it builds up my immune system!

      Cons

      The aftertaste....one needs to drink water after taking the syrup.

      Per a suggestion from my naturopathic regarding allergies and colds I purchased Elderberry Syrup in November 2012. I noticed less sneezing in the morning and I was not affected by the flu this season. I just re-ordered Elderberry Syrup.

      This is the finest Elderberry Syrup I have ever used. It is pure and unadulterated. It is thick strong elder-flavored and slightly sweet. It is so easy to take! Usually 1/2 t. twice daily when fighting off or protecting oneself from illness.

      I have been using Elderberry Syrup for 3 or 4 years and I have been healthier in the winter than the preceding years. Elderberry Syrup was recommended to me by my nautropathic physician.

      The cost and the fact that I need to have a spoon (or measuring spoon) handi inorder to take it without drinking directly out of the bottle.

      I love Elderberry Syrup! I use Elderberry Syrup whenever my family gets a runny nose - and if I use it soon enough it nips the cold in the bud. At the least the cold is always shorter and less severe. Flavor is fruity no heavy sweetness from added sugars. I have used other elderberry syrups and found them too sweet and causing constipation after regular use (3 colds in a row in my 5yr old) no problems with Elderberry Syrup! Added bonus - my husband who has Crohns can also take it safely with no problems.

      No alcohol No added sweeteners. Thick concentrated formula means smaller doses.
